Who We Are...Faith Baptist Church belongs to the Southeastern Baptist Association of Michigan.  We follow the doctrine of "The Baptist Faith And Message", and the 18 Articles of Faith that are found there.  An excerpt from these artilcles state, "...in an age increasingly hostile to Christian truth, our challenge is to express the truth as revealed in Scripture, and to bare witness to Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life."

We believe in the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ who is God's only Son and that only a personal relationship with Him as Lord and Savior will grant you the Kingdom of Heaven.  We believe in the Trinity, that God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that by accepting His shed blood, we can be forgiven of our sin.

Business meeting... directly following morning worship on January 13th.  Members, please plan to attend this end of the year meeting!

Adopt a US Soldier...program is on its way!  We have begun to collect paperback books, letters to our troops, candy and small toys to send to Iraq.  Our soldiers have come to realize that the future of the Iraqi nation lies in the children.  They give candy and toys to them to help them to realize that we are not there to hurt them, but to help them.  Our troops need our love and support.  If we do not give it to them, who will?  Please take a few  moments of your time and write an encouraging letter and drop it in our letter box located at the back of the sanctuary.  Your heart will be blessed, and so will our troops!

New sign is in!!!  Hooray for all the hard work and efforts to raise funds for the new church sign.  It has been installed and we have a little electrical work to do yet and some cosmetics.  Wow, looks great, cant wait to see it lit!

If you are interested in helping raise more funds for the New Church sign, you can do so by applying for a Meijer Rewards card.  Every purchase made at Meijers will earn a cash back reward that is sent directly to Faith Baptist Church.  We have recieved our first check that was in the amount of $157.36!!!  Wow, just think if we all used our Meijer Rewards card!  We have applications here at the church or you can apply in person at the Meijers service desk, online at www.meijer.com/rewards, or by calling 1-800-962-7011.  You must have a Code # for the church which is #604575.

 Library...is being set up for everyones use.  See our display at the back of the sanctuary for this month's recommended readings.  Check it out!

Anyone interested in borrowing the dvd "The End of the Spear" can find it in church library.
